Unless you're a hipster, you wear Carhartts because you're a doer who needs work clothes as durable as you are. Thinsulate and Scotchgard are 3M ingredient brands that exponentially add to Carhartt's durability, but core consumers were becoming wary of the premium price. We needed to do some no-nonsense education in store and online to hammer home the benefits of these two products. To do this, we crafted confident messages and visuals that showed our products walking the talk in punishing conditions. It more than got the job done. The Carhartt marketing and sales team liked the work so much that they asked us to pitch their internal brand business.
